Now that spring has rolled around it’s time to start the announcement of the
2024 Human Power Team!

First up is an allround handyman, our mechanic Floris van den Broek:

“My name is Floris, 25 years old and one of the mechanics behind the HPT project.
I have a lot of experience as a road cyclist and mechanic for professional road cycling teams, however the world of recumbent bikes and speed records is new for me.

Although I have worked with carbon and custom bike parts before, this is an area I’m keen to learn more about. Working with Hans has been great so far, it’s cool to see how much technology is involved. I am sure my experience as a mechanic in industrial automation, as well as my experience as a bike mechanic for road cycling teams will come in handy.”
